Requirements:
1. Follow the engineering instructions to run the magnetron impedance matching test, moding and arcing rate test at high voltage test gear
2. Record the test data and waveforms and generate test report
3. Troubleshooting daily interlocks fault occur when operating the test gear
4. Finish the hot test assignment base on the production/engineering schedule and meet the manufacture test delivery plan
5. Perform maintain work for the test gear to ensure smooth operation and minimum down time
6. Assist the development engineering team to performance the related development and application test tasks.
7. Ability to assembly Pugsley and Socket magnetron, support the product team to finish the test related manufacturing tasks
8. Understand the specification requirements of product and the associate test plan
9. Support the development of test fixtures and software for the evaluation of products and solutions
10. Follow the product test procedures for effective compliance testing and efficient production throughput
11. Assessment and report test equipment issues and directing support services to resolve equipment failures.
12. Support manufacture engineer in New Product Introduction testing in the production line
13. Technical support to test activities, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures while maintaining quality control and integrity.
14. Protection of Teledyne e2v’s commercial interests in day-to-day work, including IP control, export licence and anti-corruption.
15. Working within Teledyne e2v processes is required to maintain integrity and legality of the programmes. The candidate must, therefore, be pro-active in being able to observe security measures whilst maintaining quality requirements.
16. Ensuring safety systems and requirements are consistent with Teledyne e2v safety standards NOT local ones (whichever is the more stringent). Includes HV, ionising and non-ionising radiation, control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH), local regulations etc.
Qualifications:
1. Knowledge in medical accelerator/ modulator/ magnetron technology
2. Good knowledge of high voltage testing, ideally in magnetron systems and modulator
3. Use of electrical, thermal, RF/microwave test and measurement equipment
4. Experience of high voltage product testing
5. Good knowledge of the engineering processes
6. Knowledge of safety systems and safe working practices
7. Strong problem solving skills
8. Able to communicate clearly and effectively in written English and Mandarin
9. Demonstrated ability to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently
10. Excellent teamwork and inter-personal skills
11. Demonstrated ability to manage work packages
12. Use of MS Office Software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Education qualifications
1. Minimum qualification:
Electrical / mechanical engineering college degree and above
1. Relevant industrial experience in high voltage testing, test equipment maintenance and handling of microwave components
2. Radiation training certification available or equivalent experience preferred |
