• Responsible for continuous yield and quality improvements and cost reduction.
• Interface with customers and resolve quality issues for products in production.
• Primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to assigned portfolio, including supply chain management, manufacturing, quality, customer service, sales and marketing, technical publications, document control, etc.
• Take ownership for resolving customer quality and application issues on assigned product lines.
• Lead and facilitate cross function teams for problem solving. This includes coordination activities with Product Engineers in other regions to achieve common goals.
• Take leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving.
• Responsible for all aspects of engineering activities associated with the product portfolio. |
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably in in Electrical, Electronics or Physics
• Sr.5 – 10 or Junior 1-5 years of device or product engineering experience with project management experience.
• Proficient knowledge of power semiconductor devices such as IGBT, Rectifiers and gate drivers.
• Experience in silicon fabrication, assembly and testing of discrete power devices. Experience in power modules is strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge in design of experiment, statistical analysis, simple circuit & failure analysis.
• Hands-on working experience with statistical analysis software tools such as JMP. Proven track record of effective problem solving and good engineering judgment
• Ability to multitask & self-driven to produce results in a timely fashion with strong sense of competitive urgency.
• Good verbal and written communications skills. Position demands excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. |
